Azumabukuro is the Japanese traditional bag sewn Tenugui or Furoshiki.
The indigo color shows up more in contrast with the raw color.
It can be used for a lunch box or a small bag for going out.
How about a bag for a special gift?
< About us >
Chizu Blue is a cooperative set up and run by local women, making indigo-dyed products the traditional way. At our bright studio, located in Chizu-cho, a post town deep in the Chizu Mountains, we carefully grow indigo plants from seeds, separate indigo leaves and stems, make indigo dye, and dye fabric by hand.

< Care instructions >
Indigo pigment dissolves only in basic solutions; therefore, the color of our products neither runs in the wash nor transfers when using a neutral detergent. Avoid using an alkaline detergent or bleach. Please dry in the shade and store in a dark place, as our products gradually fade due to exposure to UV rays.
